Our Focus on – Maternity Leave programme offers skills development for women in the North East, to empower them to return to work confidently following maternity leave and enhance their opportunity for future career progression.
This is an engaging and interactive programme which covers topics such as:
- Self-reflection and objective setting
- Resilience
- Emotional intelligence
- Communication
We run bespoke sessions during this course according to individual skills assessments and also facilitate peer support by connecting participants in a network of local women, all on their journey to returning to work following maternity leave.
This course is open to women who are due to return to work within six months of the programme start date, or who have returned to work within the previous twelve months.
We deliver the same helpful content, in an interactive virtual format and at flexible times to suit you and your family.
Please note this course does include some pre-reading and activities to do in your own time.

This is an engaging and interactive programme which covers topics such as:

- Communication
- Inclusion
We run bespoke sessions during this course according to individual skills assessments and also facilitate peer support by connecting participants in a network of people, all on their journey to returning to work.
This course is open to people aged 50+ at any stage of their return to work or career transition.
